In 2007 European propylene glycol capacity amounted to around 670 kilotonnes.
- approx. 1/3 is used for pharmaceutical grade propylene glycol, 2/3 for industrial grade propylene glycol
European production sites are in Rotterdam (NL), Fos (FR), Stade, Ludwigshafen, Cologne (DE), Tarragona and Puertollano (ES).
